Box Score Lynbrook, N.Y. - The Molloy's women's tennis team lost to the University of New Haven Chargers, 7-0,  Sunday afternoon. The Lions fell to 1-5 on the season. The Chargers improved to 5-5 overall.

How it Happened
● Freshmen doubles partners Julie Riedel and Alyssa Baur won 6-4. Sophomore Hannah Niggemeier and freshman Gwen Kelly lost 6-7, and junior Briana Gonzalez and freshman Brooke Williams lost 0-6 to lose the doubles point.
● Riedel (7-6, 4-6, and 3-10), Baur (3-6, 1-6), and freshmen Amanda Oppedisano (0-8) all lost their matches.
● Sophomore Kailey Chin lost 0-6 and 0-6 in the third singles matchup.
● Gonzalez was defeated 1-6,1-6 in the fourth singles slot..

The Lions travel to Flushing, NY, on October 22nd to face Queens College. The time for that match is to be determined.
