Box Score Middlebury, Conn. - The women's tennis team continued the opening weekend of 2019 in a non-conference match at Post University. Despite winning doubles competition, the Lions were defeated, 4-3, falling to 0-2 on the season.

- The third pairing of freshman Christina Molloy and sophomore Briana Gonzalez played to a 6-4 victory to kick off doubles play.
- The first flight of freshman Hannah Niggemeier and junior Sarah Moehrlein sealed the doubles point in favor of the maroon and white with a 6-3 victory.
- In singles competition, senior Samantha Bloecker blanked her opponent 6-0, 6-0 to secure the Lions' second point of the day.
- Molloy picked up her second victory of the afternoon at sixth singles, taking the games 6-2, 6-4.
