Box Score West Haven, Conn. - The women's tennis team stepped out of East Coast Conference play to face the University of New Haven, falling 7-0. Molloy sits at 1-4 on the season with the loss.

The top doubles tandem of junior Sarah Moehrlein and freshman Hannah Niggemeier battled tough before being defeated, 6-3. 

Both Moehrlein and senior Montaine Le Goupil-Maier had close first matches in singles play, 6-4 and 7-5, respectively. 

The Lions will return to action on Saturday against the College of Staten Island at 12:00 p.m. from Eisenhower Park.
