Tempe, Ariz. - The Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced the schools distinguished as All-Academic Teams for the 2018-19 academic year as well as the student-athletes awarded Scholar-Athletes. Molloy's women's tennis team was one of the 940 teams across all three NCAA divisions as well as NAIA and JUCO institutions. In order to be considered, a program must have a cumulative grade-point average of a 3.20 or higher.
In addition, five members of the maroon and white were named Scholar-Athletes by the ITA: Kaite Alexanderson,
Danielle Bloecker,
Briana Gonzalez,
Montaine Le Goupil-Maier, and
Megan Scali. To be selected, student-athletes must be a varsity letter winner who have been enrolled at the present institution for at least two semesteras and have a grade-point average of at least a 3.50 for the current academic year.
