Newark, Del. - The women's bowling team took third-place at the Wildcat Invitational, going 2-1 in bracket play earlier this afternoon. Molloy improved to 24-16 in NCAA play and ended the tournament with an 8-5 record.
How it Happened
- The Lions defeated Felician University, 4.5 - 1.5 in the opening Baker match to advance.
- Molloy then fell to host, Wilmington, 4-1.
- In the consolation game, the maroon and white had a rematch against the Golden Falcons of Felician, and after a 171-170 victory in game six, earned the 4-2 victory to take third-place for the tournament.
The team will return to the lanes on Dec. 7 at the William Patterson University Northeast Classic in Lodi, N.J.
