Results

Boston, Mass. – The Molloy men's and women's track and field teams competed at the John Thomas Terrier Classic Friday, January 25 and Saturday, January 26 at the Boston University Track and Tennis Center.

Men's Results

• Senior Brian Michels finished 39^th in the mile, crossing the line in 4:15.72.
• Junior James Finnegan ran a personal-best 4:37.76 in the mile.
• Sophomore John Fitzsimmons (2:02.50), junior Stephen Barbaro (2:02.84), and sophomore Matteo Itri (2:09.15) all ran personal-records in the 800-meter.
• Junior Joseph Branciforti ran personal-bests in the 400-meter (53.62) and 200-meter (23.01).

Women's Results

• The 4x400 of senior Gabriella Martins, freshman Joanna Graca, freshman Meaghan O'Callaghan, and junior Emily Martino placed 30^th running a program-record time of 4:06.51.
• Keisha Hoskins set the program mark in the 200-meter running a 26.33 to place 75^th.  The senior also ran an 8.17 in the 60m and finished ninth.
• Freshmen Marissa McCaffery (27.73) and Kailee Vaseghi (28.37) ran personal-bests in the 200m.
• Freshman Kristi Ackerina (3:26.39) and sophomore Jessica Friedman (3:37.40) completed the 1000-meter with personal-records.

Coach's Comments

• "I couldn't be prouder to see how well the team represented themselves at a big meet like the Terrier Classic," head coach Bill Buith said. "They all competed hard and there were a lot of standout performances that are going to help with their confidence going into the ECC Championships in three weeks."

Looking Ahead

• The maroon and white returns to action Saturday, February 2 at the East Stroudsburg Invite.
