New Orleans, La. - The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released the 2025 Outdoor Track & Field All-Region honors for Division II this week and three members of the Lions were recognized.
Junior
Kathleen Healy, freshman
Sophia Hines, and senior
Sabrina Spezia were each named All-Region. To earn selection, student-athletes mst have placed in the top-five in the East Region in their respective events.
Healy's Molloy-record time of 39:45.95 in the 10,000-meter race at the East Coast Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championship (May 1) placed fourth in the East for the season. Hines' All-Region mark in the 100-meter was set at the Monmouth Season Opener (Mar. 28) with a time of 12.22 for fifth-in the East. Spezia placed fourth in the region with a 5,000-meter time of 17:50.42 at the Silfen Invitational (Apr. 11).
The trio were previously recognized as All-Region by the USTFCCA following the Indoor Track and Field Season. Healy was named All-Region in both the 3,000 and 5,000-meters with Hines earning the distinction in the triple jump and Spezia in the mile.
