Box Score Old Westbury, N.Y. (Sept. 26, 2017) – Senior Danielle Bloecker (Oceanside, N.Y.) defeated Rosa LaCorte of New York Institute of Technology in a 7-2 loss for the Molloy women's tennis team. The Lions now sit at 0-4 on the season and 0-3 in East Coast Conference play.

Bloecker's 8-6 pro set victory came after the senior paired with junior Megan Scali (Garrison, N.Y.) took a tiebreaker over Antonella Lopez and LaCorte. The tandem picked up the point in a 9-8 victory, taking the tiebreaking point 7-3.

The maroon and white are back in action on Friday (Sept. 29) as they head to Philadelphia, Pa. to face Jefferson at 12:00 p.m.
