Box Score HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (Sept. 10, 2017) – A hard-fought doubles performance from the tandem of sophomore Montaine Le Goupil-Maier (Oceanside, N.Y.) and graduate student Amanda Gaimaro (Lynbrook, N.Y.) earned the Lions their lone point in a 8-1 loss to Daemen College. The defeat sets the maroon and white at 0-2 on the season (0-2 ECC).

The top doubles tandem defeated Lorissa Yuen and Gretchen Ringler by a score of 8-6. Third doubles team of Samantha Bloecker (Oceanside, N.Y.) and senior Christie Catterson (Amityville, N.Y.) battled in their match, but ultimately fell 8-5.

Molloy continues its opening home schedule as they welcome Caldwell University to Eisenhower Park on Thursday (Sept. 14) at 3:00 p.m.
