Michael Wall (Massapequa Park, N.Y.). Junior
Kevin Hiss (Merrick, N.Y.) went three innings, picking up the loss.
The Fighting Knights got on the board early, putting three runs on the board after the first inning. Lynn added two runs in the second, third, and fifth inning plus one in the sixth to take a 10-1 lead headed into the seventh inning.
In the top of the seventh, freshman
James Messina (New Hyde Park, N.Y.) led things off for Molloy with a single up the middle. Freshman
Sean Hogan (East Meadow, N.Y.) reached on a fielder's choice, advancing to third on a double from freshman
Justyn Crisostomo (Valley Stream, N.Y.). Galanoudis drove Hogan home as he grounded out to second base.
The Lions added a run in the top of the eighth inning as freshman
Michael Imbrogno (Wantagh, N.Y.) reached on an error by Lynn's second baseman before stealing second during the next at bat. Wall singled the freshman home for the second run of the game.
Molloy will conclude their Florida trip tomorrow morning as they face the Cougars of Caldwell University on the campus of Lynn University at 11:00 a.m.
