Box Score Brookville, N.Y. (Oct. 13, 2017) – Senior Christie Catterson (Amityville, N.Y.) picked up a 6-3, 6-3 singles win over Meaghan Byrne of LIU Post in Molloy's 8-1 loss to the Pioneers this afternoon. The loss sets the Lions at 0-9 on the season.

The doubles tandem of sophomore Montaine Le Goupil-Maier (Oceanside, N.Y.) and junior Megan Scali (Garrison, N.Y.) battled to an 8-4 defeat in doubles play while the pairing of senior Danielle Bloecker (Oceanside, N.Y.) and sophomore Samantha Bloecker (Oceanside, N.Y.) fell 8-1.

Scali took two games in a pro set in singles play before falling, 8-2, to Stanislava Klymova while Le Goupil-Maier fell 6-0, 6-3.

The maroon and white will close the 2017 season next Saturday (Oct. 21) at Queens College at 12:00 p.m.
