The East Coast Conference announced its weekly awards for field hockey and cross country on Tuesday, with three Molloy University student-athletes earning recognition. Catherine Sasso was named Defensive Player of the Week, while Katie Ogurick and Peter Bagattine were selected to the weekly Honor Roll.

For the field hockey team, Sasso helped anchor the Molloy defense against Southern Connecticut State. The sophomore defender recorded two defensive saves, including one in the third quarter to prevent a scoring opportunity. Sasso's two defensive saves were a team-high as Molloy faced 21 shots from the Owls.

Ogurick was also recognized on the Honor Roll following her performance against Southern Connecticut State. The freshman forward scored Molloy's lone goal of the contest at the 23:40 mark of the second quarter, cutting the deficit to 3-1. Ogurick's goal was assisted by Samantha Naples.

In cross country, senior Peter Bagattine earned a spot on the weekly Honor Roll after leading the Lions at the University of Hartford XC Invitational. Bagattine finished 20th overall among 121 runners in the men's 5K with a career-best time of 16:52.4. The senior improved upon his previous 5K best of 18:49.9, set at the 2025 Hartford Invitational. Bagattine also finished among the top five seniors at the meet while helping Molloy secure an eighth-place team finish.
