Pleasantville, N.Y. — The field hockey team fell to Pace University, 6-0, Saturday afternoon at Peter X. Finnerty Stadium. The Lions move to 0-2 on the season, while the Setters improve to 4-2.

How it Happened

• Pace opened the scoring with three goals in the first quarter.
• Molloy goalkeeper Kayla Monique Lipscomb kept the Lions within striking distance throughout the opening half, making six saves in the second quarter as Pace maintained its three-goal advantage heading into halftime.
• Pace added to its lead in the third quarter, scoring once to take a 4-0 advantage heading into the final 15 minutes.
• The Setters added two more goals in the fourth quarter to close out the contest, 6-0.
• Lipscomb finished the contest with 19 saves, recording five saves in the first quarter, six in the second, four in the third and four in the fourth.
• Pace held advantages in shots and penalty corners as Molloy was held without either in the contest.
