The East Coast Conference released its weekly awards this afternoon with four members of the cardinal and white earning the Player of the Week honors. In addition, six more Lions were tabbed to their respective sports' Weekly Honor Roll.
Leading the way with a near sweep of the weekly awards is men's lacrosse, with redshirt senior
Noah Hammon being named the Offensive Player of the Week, followed by seniors
John Basile and
Brandon Pazienza selected as the Goalie and Defensive Player of the Week, respectively. Rounding out the Player of the Week selections is graduate student
JC Kiss from the baseball team who was tabbed the Pitcher of the Week.
Joining their fellow Lions on the honor roll is senior

Cameron Thompson and freshmen Sam Cassaro and
Skyler Secondino.
Hammon topped #15 Molloy with nine points on the week. The redshirt senior had a standout performance in conference play, putting up seven points on four goals and three assists to go with three ground balls and a caused turnover in a win over RV Frostburg State. The attacker added two more goals to go with a goal and caused turnover earlier in the week against Georgian Court.
Basile put up a 7.00 goals-against average in a 2-0 week for the #15 Lions. The senior set a career-high 18 saves in a win in league play over RV Frostburg State. The senior picked up a pair of ground balls in each contest on the week.
Pazienza was dominant at the face-off dot in both of #15 Molloy's win this week. The senior averaged .833, winning 35 of his 42 face-offs while picking up 28 ground balls. Against Georgian Court, Pazienza lost just two face-offs all afternoon, picking up 14 ground balls and becoming the program's all-time face-off leader at 612. He then added another 16 wins and 14 ground balls to go with his first goal of the season against RV Frostburg State in league play.
Kiss took the mound against Mercy Saturday afternoon and improved to 4-1 on the campaign in Molloy's 4-2 triumph. Kiss tossed seven innings allowing two runs on two hits while striking out a career-high seven. The lefty had a no-hitter through the opening four innings before surrendering a single in the fifth, but faced just one over the minimum in the first five frames.
Savage concludes the Florida trip with a .455 batting average across 22 at bats. The senior recorded a .545 slugging percentage and a .478 on base percentage on 10 hits, including a triple, five RBI, and one walk. At the top of the lineup, Savage jump started the offense this week beginning with five hits and two RBI in the doubleheader against RV Florida Tech. She then recorded a leadoff triple against Lewis and went 3-for-5 against Post, driving in three runs.
Knapp picked up the victory Sunday afternoon to improve to 3-1 on the season. The redshirt junior tossed a complete game allowing one run on five hits while striking out five.
Sweeney led the Lions' lineup during a 3-1 week. The junior hit .615 (8-for-13), drove in four runs, and scored twice while getting on base at a .667 clip. The Queens native started the week with a three-hit, three-RBI performance in the Lions' 9-6 victory over D'Youville, then finished the week with a four-hit game in Sunday's 3-1 win at Mercy.
Thompson led the team with seven points for the week, scoring five goals—two from free position—and adding two assists. The sophomore set a career high with four goals at Caldwell before scoring one and assisting on another against Southern Connecticut.
Cossaro tallied five points for the Lions on five goals this week. The freshman led the way with three goals against Southern Connecticut State and added another two at Caldwell. On the week, she also added five draw controls, three ground balls, and two caused turnovers.
Secondino closed out the Florida trip with two wins in the circle, tossing a total of 16.2 innings and striking out five batters. The freshman threw 3.2 hitless innings in relief against Saint Michael's, while striking out one batter. She followed that with a win against Post, where she pitched 4.1 innings in relief and limited the Eagles to just two hits.
