The East Coast Conference released the results of its annual Softball Preseason Poll with the Molloy softball team rounding out the playoff picture in fourth-place.

St. Thomas Aquinas was selected to capture the crown with five first-place votes and 33 points. Defending champion D'Youville was picked second racking up 29 points and one first-place vote and Mercy totaled 24 points to place third. Queens College and Staten Island rounded out the poll in fifth and sixth totaling 13 and seven points, respectively.

The Lions return four upperclassmen and 10 players from the 2025 squad. Of the returners, junior
Stevie Dabbadie will pace the lineup. The Burbank, California native collected All-ECC First Team and D2CCA All-Region Second Team honors in 2025 after hitting .325 alongside 31 RBI, 18 doubles, and three home runs. Dabbadie also spent time in the circle, totaling 12 wins and striking out 78 while collecting two shut outs and one save.
