The East Coast Conference released the recipients of the second week of awards for the fall season.
For the second week in a row, senior
Aria Miller was named the Defensive Player of the Week. The libero averaged 5.17 digs per set in a 3-0 week for the Lions. Miller reached double digit digs in all three contests, including two of over 20. She also added six assists to go with three service aces.
Sophomore
Isabella Rios earned her first weekly award of the 2025 season as the league's Player of the Week. She put up a complete stat line of 33 kills, 28 digs, four aces, three assists, and three blocks in an undefeated week for the Lions. Rios averaged over 2.00 digs and kills per set, including a double-double of 12 kills and 14 digs against West Chester.
For the women's soccer team, Molloy also took home two weekly awards in the Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week.
Senior
Olivia Ingenito was tabbed the Offensive Player of the Week after scoring two goals in the Lions' 3-0 victory over Goldey-Beacom in the team's first victory of 2025. Junior
Elyse Muñoz earned the Defensive Player of the Week designation after posting back-to-back shutouts on the week. The goalkeeper made three saves in the win over Goldey-Beacom.
Rounding out Molloy's recognition was graduate student
Julia Zalta being named to the Weekly Honor Roll for volleyball. Zalta was a force on all sides of the court in the undefeated week. The setter averaged 6.25 assists per set, putting up 20 or more in all three contests while also averaging 3.25 kills and 1.67 digs per set. She tallied two double-doubles on the week: 25 assists and 11 kills against Bridgeport and 30 assists with a career-high 20 kills against West Chester. Zalta also had two or more aces in each of the three contests, averaging over .50 aces per set on the week.
