Mansfield, Mass. – The Northeast-10 released its results of the 2025 Preseasons Coaches Poll, with Molloy being selected 13
th in the league.
NE-10 finalist Saint Anselm was the preseason favorite with a total of 139 points and seven first place votes but were closely followed by defending champion Assumption University with 132 points and five first place votes. Pace was tabbed third with 111 points followed by Bentley with 109 points and one first place vote. Southern New Hampshire (104), Adelphi (100), Franklin Pierce (62), and Southern Connecticut State (60) were selected fifth through eighth to fill out the playoff positions.
American International (53), St. Thomas Aquinas (47), Mercy (39), and Saint Michael's (37) ranked ninth through 12
th respectively. The Lions rounded out the poll 13
th with a total of 21 points.
The cardinal and white return with 16 players from the 2024 season and have added two newcomers to the upcoming season.
The Lions open the 2025 season at D'Youville on Friday (Sept. 5), at 7:00 p.m.
