College Sports Communicators released the 2025 Academic All-District At-Large teams and 11 members of Molloy's lacrosse programs earned spots on the list for their success both in the classroom and on the field of play.
To be considered, student-athletes must have achieved a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.30 after sophomore academic status.
Those recognized from Molloy's women's lacrosse team: seniors
Megan Rugolo (education),
Alessandra Borsellino (biology),
Sofia Quitoni (nursing),
Alexa Amorison (nursing), and
Carly Howell (criminal justice). Rugolo was selected to the All-America ballot along with approximately 130 other student-athletes from the sports of women's beach volleyball, women's rowing, women's bowling, women's fencing, field hockey, women's golf, women's gymnastics, women's ice hockey, women's lacrosse, women's rifle, women's skiing, and women's water polo.
The men's lacrosse selections were: seniors
Bryan Diliberto (adolescent education) and
Noah Taylor (criminal justice), juniors
Justin Palulis (education),
Thomas Kofod (accounting), and
Shawn McCabe (education), and sophomore
Rocco Hogan (management). Kofod also advanced as one of approximately 100 on the All-America ballot representing the sports of men's fencing, men's golf, men's gymnastics, men's ice hockey, men's lacrosse, men's rifle, men's skiing, men's volleyball, men's water polo, and men's wrestling.
The All-American teams will be announced the week of July 7.
