Defense Highlights Sprint Football Against UPenn

Uniondale, N.Y. - The defense had a standout evening in tonight's penultimate contest of the 2025 sprint football season, putting up three interceptions to go with five sacks. Ultimately, the Lions fell to the Quakers, 14-0 to fall to 1-6 on the campaign.

  • The Quakers scored again on the second drive of the second quarter, this time with Johnson throwing a 38 yard pass to Jake Wang to double the lead.
  • On the following possession for UPenn, Johnson was sacked twice before senior John Zarnowski picked him off in the end zone for a touchback.
