Amherst, N.Y. – Graduate student Danu Kinsella Bishop led the way for the Molloy men's soccer team, finding the back of the net three times to earn the Lions a 3-0 victory over the Daemen Wildcats Saturday afternoon. Molloy improves to 2-5-4 on the campaign and 1-1-2 in East Coast Conference play, while the Wildcats move to 1-13 overall and 0-5 in league play.
 
How it Happened

• Neither team could muster a shot on goal in the opening 20 minutes of action, settling the contest into a defensive battle.
• Kinsella Bishop was able to score his first of the contest in the 24^th minute after he settled down a feed from junior Wilmer Flores to get the Lions on the board, 1-0.
• The next shot Kinsella Bishop would take, found the back of the net in the 28^th minute to extend the lead, 2-0.
• Molloy would hold Daemen without a shot in the opening 45 minutes, taking a 2-0 lead into halftime.
• Kinsella Bishop would collect his hat trick 1:03 into the second stanza to give the Lions a commanding 3-0 advantage.
• The Wildcats looked to get on the board and begin a second half surge, generating a scoring chance in the 60^th minute that sophomore goalkeeper Callum Hunt would save.
• Daemen would put together one last scoring chance in the 77^th minute, but Hunt would make one last save as the Lions would close out the final 13 minutes and clinch the victory, 3-0. 

Top Performances

• Kinsella Bishop's three goals brings him to 11 goals on the campaign to total 22 points. The graduate student has now scored in each of his last seven contests.
• Flores dished out his fourth assist on the season.
• In goal, Hunt made two saves to collect his fourth shutout of the season.
