Rockville Centre, N.Y. - The volleyball team won its fourth-straight match tonight, returning to Bob Houlihan Court for the first time in nearly three weeks. The Lions swept the Knights of Queens College, 3-0, to improve to 10-4 on the season and 3-0 in East Coast Conference play. Queens drops to 6-10 (0-3 ECC) with the loss.

How it Happened
- Molloy opened the contest on a 4-0 run that saw a kill and block from senior Teresa Moulder, a block from junior Erin Stanley, and a kill from sophomore Isabella Rios.
- The Knights would respond by taking the next three points, but the Lions' offense exploded for the next eight in a row, including two aces from Rios, to lead 12-3.
- Queens would claw back to within four, but the lead was too much and earned Molloy the set victory.
- The dominance continued into the second set with the Lions jumping ahead 16-2. Senior Aria Miller fired off five aces in a string of six points while Rios, Stanley, freshman Haven Tretcher, graduate student Julia Zalta, and senior Ilaria Micol Chiericati each added kills.
- Both Trechter and Chiericati added acces of their own as part of the nine points the Lions needed to take the second set.
- The Knights took a lead for the first time in the third set, going in front 5-2.
- Blocks from Trechter, Moulder, Stanley, and Chiericati helped the Lions knot the contest at six.
- The score would be tied three more times until the home team went on a 7-1 run to lead 17-11.
- The Knights had a rally of their own and would eventually knot the score at 20.
- The next five-straight points would go in favor of Molloy and saw two kills from Zalta and two aces from Chiericati to seal the victory.

- Trechter led the Molloy offense with 11 kills while adding seven digs and an ace.
