Rockville Centre, N.Y. - The volleyball team fell twice this afternoon from Bob Houlihan Gymnasium, losing in three sets to both RV Lewis University and Bentley University. The Lions now sit at 6-4 on the season.

How it Happened
- Lewis would take the opening three points of the contest. The Lions would consistently come back to within two, but were unable to catch the Flyers.
- An ace from graduate student Julia Zalta paired with kills from seniors Kiarra Roth and Sara Hiebert lifted the home team in front, 3-0, to start the second set.
- The visitors responded with a 6-0 run to regain the lead.
- The cardinal and white would retake the lead following a kill from freshman Isabella Rios and blocks from Zalta and Hiebert, 12-10.
- An 8-2 run gave Lewis an 18-14 lead that it would maintain through the conclusion of the set.
- The Molloy offense roared to life in the third set, opening with a 10-2 run that saw a kill and ace from Rios, three kills from Roth, two blocks and a kill from Hiebert, two blocks from sophomore Erin Stanley, and a kill from junior Teresa Moulder.
- Lewis would take eight of the next nine points to come within one, 11-10 before eventually knotting the score at 13.Â
- The score would be tied three more times, including 16-16, before the Flyers closed the contest with a 9-1 run.
- Roth led with 10 kills while adding eight digs.Â
- Moulder followed with eight kills.Â
- Sophomore Aria Miller led with 15 digs and added four assists and an ace.Â
- Rios tallied 13 digs.
- Zalta's two aces paced the team while Hiebert led with five blocks.Â

How it Happened
- The score would be tied six times in the opening 18 points before the Falcons fired off 14-straight points for the set victory.
- Back-to-back kills from Moulder and senior Roberta Monticelli helped the Lions to an 8-4 lead in the second set.Â
- A six-point run from Bentley would give the visitors a 13-9 lead.
- Blocks from Stanley, Moulder, and Hiebert would help the Lions knot the score at 14, but the Falcons scored 11 of the final 14 points to take a 2-0 set lead.
- The visitors led to start the third set, but Molloy was able to work the score back to knot it at 12.
- The score would be tied six more times before the Falcons earned the two-straight points necessary to clinch the match.
- Rios paced the offense with 10 kills, just missing a double-double with nine digs.
- Senior Alex Brown's 14 digs and two aces led the Lions.
