Three from Men's Lacrosse Selected All-ECC Second Team

West Babylon, N.Y. - The East Coast Conference released its 2024 Men's Lacrosse All-Conference squads, with junior Bryan Diliberto, junior Christian Michaels, and sophomore Thomas Kofod each earning a spot on the Second Team.

This is Diliberto's first All-Conference nod in three seasons with the Lions. The midfielder appeared in all 17 contests for the Lions, and is in the top-five on the team in assists (11) and points (28) while adding 17 goals. This season, he has tallied three or more points in six contests, including matching a career-high five points with three goals and two assists in a victory over Bridgeport. He also has tallied six multi-goal games, led by four goals at Pace.

Michaels picks up his third-straight Second Team selection following a standout regular season between the pipes. He has started all 16 games he's appeared in, and has recorded double digit saves in 13 contests, led by 20 in a 13-10 victory over Post. The goalie enters the postseason with a save percentage of .530 and a goals-against average of 11.75, good for 27th and 36th in the nation, respectively, while ranking 20th with 12.56 saves per game. In the regular season finale, Michaels took sole possession of Molloy's all-time saves record, currently sitting at 644.

Kofod earns his second-straight Second Team nod despite only appearing in eight games for the cardinal and white to date. In that time, he's made an immediate impact as a long stick midfielder, ranking second on the team with 32 ground balls and third with 14 caused turnovers to go with three assists. He has tallied five games with three or more ground balls, and has scooped one up in each game he's played in, and has forced a turnover in seven of eight contests.

The fourth-seeded men's lacrosse team will compete in the East Coast Conference Tournament tomorrow (May 1) against top-seeded Mercy University. Face-off is slated for 3:00 p.m. from Dobbs Ferry, N.Y.
