Galloway, N.J. - Freshmen
Peter Bagattine and
Kathleen Healy led the men's and women's cross country teams, respectively, at the Osprey Invite, hosted by Stockton University. The men finished sixth in the field of 15 while the women finished ninth in the field of 16.
Bagattine ran the 8k course in 26:53.85, good for 14th overall. He was followed by junior
Matt Floyd with a time of 27:17.28 for 20th-place. Juniors
Frank Ferrante (27:55.57) and
Eric Palencia (28:37.13) rounded out the Lions' runners in the top-50.
On the women's side, Healy's time of 24:06.99 was enough for eighth-place. Junior
Megan Sohl ran a time of 25:29.06 for 30th-place.
Molloy will be in action on Sept. 30 at the Paul Short Invitational from Bethlehem, Pa.
