Garden City, N.Y. - The volleyball team made the short trek to the Center for Recreation and Sport for a non-conference matchup against the Panthers of Adelphi University, falling in three sets. The Lions sit at 7-11 on the season while Adelphi improved to 13-5.

How it Happened
- The home team led from the opening point, beginning the contest with back-to-back kills.
- Molloy would come within one on four occasions, but were unable to catch the Panthers.
- The teams exchanged points to open the second set, tying the contest four times.
- Adelphi would score five-straight points to lead 9-4, a deficit the Lions were unable to make up.

- Freshman Hope Carolan, sophomore Keri Carlin, and junior Rebecca Meier each tallied four digs with Meier adding three kills.
- Graduate student Mariana Donado Yepes led with nine assists while junior Julia Zalta had seven and Carolan had three.
- Junior Sara Hiebert put up two blocks.
