How it Happened
- The Lions opened the contest on a 5-1 run including three kills from junior Colleen Moulder.
- Two kills and a service ace from sophomore Alex Brown helped put Molloy in front, 15-5.
- Molloy scored seven of the final eight points to win the first set.
- The second set opened on an 8-1 run from the Lions. Nyack would come within four before Molloy sealed the set, 25-11.

How it Happened
- The Lions held the Wildcats close in the early moments of the match, but Wayne State strung together a 9-3 run to go in front 16-8 in the first set.
- The opening set ended on a 6-0 run in favor of the visitors.
- Tied 4-4 in the second set, WSC scored 13 unanswered points to go in front 17-4, a lead that Molloy was unable to overcome.
- Down 18-7 in the third set, the Lions rallied five points, including two kills from freshman Kiarra Roth, to come within six, 18-12.
- Molloy would come within five, 22-17, before Wayne State scored the final three points of the contest to seal the victory.
