Rockville Centre, N.Y. - The volleyball team fell to Daemen University this afternoon from Quealy Gymnasium, 3-0, to snap a four-game winning streak. Molloy sits at 12-9 on the season and 4-3 in East Coast Conference play in the loss while Daemen improved to 15-5 (8-0 ECC) in the victory.

How it Happened
- The teams had an evenly matched start to the contest that featured eight tie scores through the first 20 points.Â
- Â The Wildcats took 15 of the next 20 and closed the set on a six-point run to take a 1-0 lead in the match.
- Kills from juniors Kathleen Doherty and Colleen Moulder paired with a block from Moulder and freshman Canyen Rodriguez helped the Lions to an 8-5 lead.Â
- The home team maintained its advantage until Daemen put together a six-point run to lead, 19-14.
- Molloy responded by taking five of the next six points, including two aces from Rodriguez, to come within one, 20-19, but the second set also ended in favor of the Wildcats.
- Daemen took a 5-1 lead to open the final set.Â
- The Lions would work the contest to within one, 11-10, before a 10-point run sealed the contest for the visitors.

- Moulder led the Lions with eight kills and four blocks.
- Junior Kiarra Roth and freshman Kaitlin Jordan each added six kills.
- Rodriguez had a double-double with 24 assists and 13 digs to go with two aces and two blocks.
