Buffalo, N.Y. – The men's basketball team picked up its third conference victory Sunday afternoon, defeating the Saints of D'Youville College, 74-63, inside College Center Gym. The Lions improve to 4-11 (3-3 ECC) with the win, while the Saints fall to 1-14 (0-7 ECC).

- Junior William Muller scored four of the first six points to begin the contest, giving Molloy an early 6-0 lead.
- A pair of layups from graduate student Justin Caldwell and freshman Darren Fergus extended the Lions' lead to nine, 14-5, with 12:41 to go in the opening stanza.
- A 7-3 scoring run padded the Molloy lead to 13, 21-8, with over eight minutes to go on the scoreboard.
- D'Youville closed the final 8:35 of the first half on a 23-7 scoring run, taking a, 31-28, lead into halftime.
- A 13-4 run by the maroon and white was capped by a three-point basket from Fergus, pushing the road team ahead, 41-35, with over 16 minutes to play.
- A jump shot from Saints' forward Chris Stineman closed the deficit to three, 43-40, with 13:35 left.
- Over the next three minutes of action, the Lions began to pull ahead, putting together a 13-0 run, highlighted by two three-pointers from freshman Billy Reyes. Molloy led, 56-40, with over ten minutes on the scoreboard.
