Rockville Centre, N.Y. – The Molloy men's soccer team topped the D'Youville Saints, 1-0, Wednesday afternoon at John A. Darcy Field. The Lions improved to 4-3-1 overall and 3-0 in ECC play, while the Saints fell to 4-4-2 overall and 0-3 in league play.

- The Lions outshot the Saints 14-2 in the first half.
- In the 18th minute, sophomore Danny Muir had a header denied.
- Graduate student Jesse Schleeper had a chance denied in the 40th minute.
- Junior Dennis Mejia made saves in the 25th and 43rd minutes.

- Graduate student Peter Meyer had a shot saved in the 54th minute.
- After Schleeper was fouled in the box in the 72nd minute, Meyer converted the penalty kick to put the Lions ahead 1-0.
- The maroon and white kept the away team off the scoreboard in the final 18 minutes of the match.

- Meyer, who fired a match-high eight shots, scored his fourth goal of the season. He leads the team in goals, assists (2), and points (10).
- Schleeper recorded five shots.
- Mejia made two saves for his first shutout of the season.
