Rockville Centre, N.Y. - The women's volleyball team swept the Redhawks of Roberts Wesleyan College, 3-0, in the team's first contest on the court of Quealy Gymnasium in over one month. Molloy improved to 11-12 on the season and 6-4 in East Coast Conference play with the victory while the Redhawks fell to 2-21 (1-10 ECC).

How it Happened
- Two kills and an ace from freshman Alex Brown helped the Lions to an early 7-3 lead.
- Roberts Wesleyan would come within two, 11-9, but a four-point run that featured back-to-back aces from freshman Rebecca Meier, helped Molloy go in front, 15-9, which the visitors were unable to overcome.
- The Redhawks took a 4-2 advantage to start the second set, but the home team responded with a streak of six points, including three aces from sophomore Colleen Moulder.
- RWC put together three separate point streaks, coming as close as 24-23, but a kill from sophomore Chye Davis sealed the second set in favor of the home team.
- Two kills from Meier gave Molloy a 4-0 start to the third set.
- A string of six points, including two aces from junior Alexa Rescigno, put the maroon and white in front, 18-7.
- The Lions maintained its advantage through the end of the set before senior Graciela Cruz sealed the victory for Molloy with back-to-back kills.
Top Performances
- Meier led the maroon and white with 10 kills and three aces while adding nine digs. Moulder also tallied three aces.
- Cruz added nine kills while Brown and Davis had six and five, respectively.
- Graduate student Kassie Akouri-Tejedor had 28 assists, four kills, two aces, and two digs.
- Sophomore Kathleen Doherty led with 17 digs.
- Cruz and freshman Madison Wakely each recorded four blocks while Davis added three.
