How it Happened

• Bloomfield started the game on a 15-3 run.
• With the score 20-6, senior Josh Dennis made a three-pointer, and sophomore William Muller made a layup to make it a 20-11 contest.
• The road team extended its lead to 36-18 with 5:40 left in the first frame.
• The Lions went on a 9-2 run, led by four points from Dennis, to cut the Bloomfield lead to 38-27.
• The maroon and white trailed 41-31 at the half.
• Sophomore Pano Pavlidis and freshman James Montgomery combined for the Lions' first six points of the second half to cut the Bears' advantage 43-37.
• The visitors increased their lead to 54-41 with 12:12 remaining.
• With the score 58-46, Molloy outscored the Bears 18-4, led by six points from Muller and four points from junior Steven Torre, to take a 64-62 lead.
• The Bears led 68-66 with 3:11 remaining.
• Torre hit a triple to put the home team up 69-68.
• With the score knotted at 69, Montgomery hit a layup with 31 seconds left, and senior Nick Corbett hit a pair of free-throws to seal the 73-69 victory.
