Rockville Centre, N.Y. - The volleyball team's streak continued with a 3-0 victory over the Mavericks of Mercy College this evening from Quealy Gymnasium. The Lions improved to 15-3 on the season and 5-0 in East Coast Conference play and have extended their win streak to seven games.

How It Happened
	- The maroon and white jumped in front to a 15-6 lead after scoring nine-straight points on the serving of senior Jessica Fischetti.
- Freshman Chye Davis ended the contest with a kill to give Molloy the 1-0 set lead.
- The Lions' streak continued, taking a 4-1 lead in the second set. The Mavericks would come within one, 6-5, but Molloy extended its lead to as much as 18-11 en route to a 25-19 set victory.
- The third set was decided early, as the home team took a 13-1 lead. Molloy would take the set on a service ace from Davis.
Top Performances
	- Redshirt senior Carly Banks and junior Kacey Affrunti each tallied eight kills for the Lions with Affrunti added six aces
- Senior Sophia Smith recorded a double-double with 26 assists and 11 digs.
- Fischetti topped the Lions with 13 digs and five aces.
- Smith and senior Devon Hagerstrom each recorded three blocks.
