Rochester, N.Y. - The volleyball team remained undefeated in East Coast Conference play, defeating Roberts Wesleyan College in three sets this afternoon. The maroon and white improved to 19-4 on the season and 7-0 in league play.

How it Happened
- Molloy took a 6-0 lead to start the contest, including two aces by junior Kacey Affrunti.
- The Redhawks would come within two, 9-7, but nine of the next 12 points went in favor of the visitors to put the Lions back in front, 17-9.
- The maroon and white closed the first set on a 5-0 run.
- Three aces from senior Sophia Smith helped the visitors to a dominant 15-2 lead in the second set, which Roberts Wesleyan was unable to recover from.
- The home team led, 6-5, in the final set before six straight points put the maroon and white in front, 11-6.
- The Redhawks would come within three, 15-12, before Molloy eventually sealed the contest on a four-point run.
Top Performances
- Freshman Chye Davis topped the squad with nine kills and three blocks.
- Smith and Affrunti each served up three aces with Smith adding 24 assists and five digs.
- Senior Jessica Fischetti tallied seven digs to go with three assists.
- Molloy committed just three errors in the match, attacking at a .441 clip.
