Lakewood, N.J. – The Molloy men's soccer team topped the Georgian Court Lions, 4-2, Wednesday afternoon at the Georgian Court Turf Field. Molloy improved to 7-5-1, while GCU fell to 5-8.

How it Happened

• The maroon and white opened the scoring in the 12^th minute. Senior Paul Morales scored on a cross from senior Anthony Cestaro.
• Cestaro scored off of a feed from senior Angelo Bordenca to increase the road team's advantage to 2-0 in the 32^nd minute.
• 31 seconds after Cestaro's tally, junior Oscar Magnusson stole the ball from a defender and scored to make it a 3-0 match.
• The home team scored in the 43^rd and 51^st minutes to cut the Molloy lead to 3-2.
• Bordenca made it 4-2, on an assist from Magnusson, in the 77^th minute.

Top Performances

• Cestaro leads the team in goals (6), assists (6), and points (18). The senior also became the program's all-time assist leader (19).
• Morales is second on the team with five goals.
• Bordenca recorded his second multi-point match of the year.
• Magnusson has two goals and two assists in 2019.
• Freshman Sergio Peralta made three saves, and sophomore Dennis Mejia made two stops in the victory.
