Men's Soccer Edged By Roberts Wesleyan, 2-1

Rochester, N.Y. – The Molloy men's soccer team fell to the Roberts Wesleyan Redhawks, 2-1, Saturday afternoon at the Roberts Wesleyan Turf Field. The Lions moved to 6-5-1 overall and 3-3 in conference play, while the Redhawks moved to 7-5-1 overall and 4-1 in league play.

How it Happened
  • Roberts Wesleyan, which outshot Molloy 10-7 in the first frame, created the first chance in the fourth minute, but Dylan Ruiz's shot was stopped by freshman goalkeeper Sergio Peralta.
  • In the fifth minute, senior Anthony Cestaro had a try denied.
  • Juniors Oscar Magnusson and Kenneth Garcia had shots stopped in the 30th and 36th minutes, respectively.
