Rockville Centre, N.Y. – The volleyball team was defeated by Daemen College, 3-0, in East Coast Conference play this afternoon in Quealy Gymnasium. The Wildcats remain undefeated in league play, improving to 4-0 with the loss, while Molloy now sits at an even 2-2.

How it Happened
- After trailing 6-3, Molloy took its first and only lead of the set, 8-7, after a ball handling error by Isa McCaffrey of the Wildcats. Daemen regained the lead before the Lions tied the contest, 9-9, on a service error.
- The maroon and white would play from behind the remainder of the set until an attack error knotted the score, 20-20.
- Back-to-back kills from Daemen gave the visitors a two-point lead, which they held on to for the remainder of the set.
- Molloy attacked at under .100 in each of the next two sets, totaling just 13 kills between the two to help the Wildcats close out the contest.
