Orangeburg, N.Y. (Nov. 18, 2017) – Sophomore Nick Corbett tallied a career-high 30 points in a 76-65 loss at Dominican in the Sixth Annual Daniel Sullivan Memorial Tournament. Junior Curtis Jenkins scored 16 points in the effort while sophomore Josh Dennis notched a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds while dishing out a game-high five assists. Corbett shot 11-of-20 from the field in the effort, going 7-of-9 from the foul line. Both Corbett and Jenkins tallied 10 points in the first half of play.

The Lions took a one-point lead, 10-9, early in the first half on a jumper from redshirt freshman Justin Caldwell. The two teams would exchange scores, tying the game twice until the Chargers went out on a 10-point run to go ahead by the largest lead of the half, 26-15. Molloy chipped away at the lead in the final five minutes, including a five-point run to end the half trailing 36-31.

A 14-point run in the second half propelled Dominican ahead 53-35. Molloy would come within eight in the second frame, led by a 20-point half from Corbett. The Chargers' offense, however, receiving 43 points off the bench on the evening, would be too much to overcome and the Lions fell, 76-65.

Molloy ends the opening road trip on Monday (Nov. 20) as they face Division I's St. John's University in Carnesecca Arena  at 6:30 p.m.
