Rockville Centre, N.Y. (Oct. 25, 2017) – The Molloy men's soccer team fell to the Bloomsburg Huskies, 1-0, Wednesday afternoon at John A. Darcy Field. The Lions move to 5-11 overall with the loss.
The maroon and white, led by junior 
Daniel Massey (Warrington, England), who took a game-high six shots, and freshman 
Alex Castano (Valley Stream, N.Y.), who took three shots, outshot the visitors 11-4 in the first half. But Bloomsburg (4-12) scored in the 12
th minute on a penalty kick from Sam Izzo and took a 1-0 lead into the break.
The Lions continued the pressure in the second half, directing nine shots toward the goal, but failed to find the back of the net.
Junior keeper 
Raul Bonilla (Brentwood, N.Y.) made three saves in the losing effort.
Molloy closes out the 2017 regular season Saturday, Oct. 28, when it hosts Daemen. Kickoff with the Wildcats is slated for 3:00 p.m.
