Devon Hagerstrom (Bethpage, N.Y.), the Molloy College volleyball team ended a five-match losing streak by toppling Queens College on Tuesday (Oct. 4) in Flushing. Set scores from Fitzgerald Gymnasium favored Molloy 26-24, 17-25, 25-19 and 27-25 as the Lions improved to 3-14 on the year and 1-3 in East Coast Conference play. The Knights drop to 3-12 overall and are 1-4 in conference competition.

Sophia Smith (Georgetown, Texas) returned to form with 36 assists to go along with eight digs, while Williams played well in the back row with 14 digs of her own. Defensive specialist

Dakota O'Neill (Long Beach, N.Y.) added a team-high 17 digs to go along with three assists. Sophomore

Hailey Wehr (Wading River, N.Y.) each collected four kills while first-year
Shannon Wren (Lynbrook, N.Y.) had six kills in the victory.
