Wehr led the team with 11 kills and had a first set with five service aces as fellow rookie
Shannon Wren (Lynbrook, N.Y.) added 10 kills on the evening. First-year middle hitter
Devon Hagerstrom (Bethpage, N.Y.) continued a stellar season with seven kills on a hitting percentage of .583 while also adding three service aces and four block assists in the victory. Meanwhile, setter

Leading Mercy was sophomore attacker Peyton Olson (Albany, Ore.) and her match-high 12 kills as libero Brianna Heffernan (East Islip, N.Y.) delivered 20 digs in the back row to lead all players. As a team, the Mavericks missed on nine serves and also allowed 12 service aces. Setter Brooke Runge (Closter, N.J.) posted 27 assists while Leah Petty (Philadelphia, Pa.) had eight kills on 11 attempts and collected a team-best .545 attack percentage.
Molloy will look to win its second match in a row when the Lions host Queens College on Tuesday (Nov. 1) in the regular-season home finale at Quealy Gymnasium. First serve is set for 6 p.m.
