The win improves the Lions to 11-9 and 6-6 in East Coast Conference play, while the Redhawks fall to 8-10 overall and 4-8 in league action.

In the opening half, the Lions posted a halftime advantage over the Redhawks of 38-25. Roberts Wesleyan jumped out to an early 4-0 lead, but the Lions stormed back to take control of the contest. Junior guard Brandon Williams (Baldwin, N.Y.) helped the Lions in the first stanza with nine points.
