DesLauriers enters his fifth season at the least of the women's volleyball program in 2021.

His impact on the maroon and white has been immediate, going 74-20, leading the program to three-straight East Coast Conference and NCAA Regional Tournaments with the team dropping only five contests on their home court in the past four seasons.

The Lions made history in 2019, winning the program's first NCAA Regional Championship and earning a trip to the NCAA Division II National Championship Tournament as one of the top eight teams in the country. Molloy boasted a dominant 28-5 record, including going 10-0 in league play, becoming the first team since the 2014 season to go undefeated in ECC play.

Upon his arrival to Rockville Centre, DesLauriers helped the team to a then program-best 26-6 record (up from 6-24 in 2016), winning the program's first East Coast Conference Championship and playing in the NCAA East Regional Tournament for the first time, advancing to the Semifinal round. His efforts earned him the American Volleyball Coaches Association National Coach of the Year.

In his time with the maroon and white, DesLauriers has coached the Lions to 13 All-ECC selections in addition to the Setter, Libero, Rookie, Player, and Coach of the Year awards on the conference level, 11 AVCA All-Region nods, three AVCA All-American honorable mentions, five D2CCA All-Region selections, and one D2CCA East Regional Player and AVCA Rookie of the Year in Kacey Affrunti.

He also serves as the Associate Athletic Director for Operations for Molloy.

Prior to coming to Rockville Centre, he served as head volleyball coach and Assistant Athletic Director for Operations at Dowling College from 2013-15. In his role in Operations, DesLauriers was responsible for handling the department's equipment and apparel needs as well as producing expense reports for equipment expenditures. He also served as the game day supervisor for the softball, baseball, and men's and women's lacrosse teams. While at Dowling, DesLauriers served as the team administrator for the NCAA Regionals for both baseball and softball.

In his three years at the helm of the Golden Lions, he posted a 66-31 overall record and a 36-12 East Coast Conference mark. Dowling earned two berths to the NCAA under the watch of DesLauriers. In 2013, it made the East Regional Quarterfinals, and in 2015, the Lions made the second round of the NCAA Division II Championship. Along with team success on the court, he has coached two ALL-ECC First Team selections, five All-ECC Section team picks, and an Honorable Mention choice. Kayla Morgan was named the 2014 ECC Libero of the Year, and Kayla Dillman was tabbed as the 2014 Setter of the Year.

DesLauriers spent 12 seasons at Stony Brook University as an assistant coach after coaching both the men’s and women’s volleyball teams at Southampton University. He earned his bachelor’s degree in computer math (Magne Cum Laude) from Southampton in 1993. At Southampton, he played on the men’s volleyball team, winning the Division II Championship in 1992. The setter also played on the Long Island Men’s Open Team and won a national championship with the USA Volleyball Men’s A-Team.
