Thomas Beverly joined the sprint football program for its inaugural season in 2024.
Beverly also coaches with local Saint John the Baptist's varsity team, primarily working with the running backs and linebackers. He won a 2023 AA-1 Championship with the program. He prides himself on the holistic development of young athletes and works off a coaching philosophy based on accountability, urging players to surpass their limits and cultivate a culture of excellence.
A four-year player at LIU Post, Beverly was tabbed the ECAC and PSAC Rookie of the Year in 2009. Prior to joining the Pioneers, he was the all-time leading rusher at St. John the Baptist.Â
Beverly graduated with a Bachelor's degree in liberal arts from LIU Post in 2013.Â
