Nicholas Capriola joined the men’s basketball program for the 2017-18 season.
In such time, the Lions have appeared in six-straight East Coast Conference tournaments, including winning the program's first-ever ECC Championship in 2018-19 and appearing in the NCAA Tournament for the first time.
Prior to Molloy, Capriola served as a manager for Hofstra Univeristy’s men’s basketball team under Head Coach Joe Mihalich for two seasons. He was responsible for helping to coordinate practice drills as well as serving as an administrative liaison for the program while serving as the game time-keeper on the bench during contests.
No stranger to a college athletic department, Capriola also worked as an equipment room assistant with Stony Brook University. In his role, he was responsible for the purchasing and maintenance of equipment and uniforms for all of Stony Brook’s athletic teams.
He also serves as Assistant to the Facilities Program Coordinator at SUNY Old Westbury, where he is responsible for coordinating and scheduling all internal and external events for the College.
Capriola graduated from Hofstra University in 2015 with a Bachelor's in Business Administration.
