Rockville Centre, N.Y. - The softball team ended the week with two wins over Dominican University of New York, improving to 14-26 on the season. In the second game, which ended in a 9-1 victory in five innings via the run rule, the team set a new program-record with seven stolen bases. Since the tracking of single-game records began in 2005, the program had tallied six stolen bases on six different occasions, most recently in 2024 against D'Youville.
The program dedicated today's doubleheader to supporting the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's. The team is raising funds to support the care and support of over six million Americans and research to end the devastating disease.
