Rockville Centre, N.Y.- The women's lacrosse team dropped a 14-6 decision to Georgian Court this evening at the RVC Sports Complex. With the loss, Molloy moves to 1-2 on the season while Georgian Court improves to 1-3.

- Georgian Court got on the scoreboard first in the eighth minute of play to take a 1-0 lead.
- Senior Emma Brazier responded two minutes later on a man-up opportunity, scoring her first goal of the season.
- The visiting Lions added two more goals, including one off a free-position shot, to take a 3-1 lead at the end of the first quarter.
- Sophomore Ava Benasutti scored three minutes into the second quarter, cutting the deficit to one before Georgian Court quickly netted another.
- Freshman Jenna Italiano brought Molloy back within one goal on a man-up opportunity in the sixth minute of play.
- Junior Nicole Schaumloffel made two key stops with five minutes left in the second, first denying a free-position attempt, and then stopping the rebound.
- Schaumloffel came up with another big save for the cardinal and white with about three minutes remaining in the half.
- Georgian Court closed the second with four unanswered goals to take an 8-3 lead going into halftime.
- The visitors opened the second half with a goal from Gabrielle Battle on a man-up opportunity. Caitlin Petrellese followed with her second goal of the night before Erin Richey found the back of the net twice, extending the lead to 12-3.
- Benasutti scored her second goal of the contest in the final four seconds of the third quarter.
- Freshman Peyton Naus finished a pass from Benasutti before Cameron Thompson converted on a free-position shot to cut the deficit to 13-6.
- Menard rounded out the scoring in the final five minutes to close out the contest 14-6.
