Philadelphia, P.A.- In a back-and-forth battle that featured seven ties, the #13 men's lacrosse team earned a 12-11 overtime victory against Chestnut Hill this evening. With the win, the Lions improve to 7-2, and the Griffins sit at 4-4 on the season.

How it Happened
- The Griffins struck first in the opening quarter, with Matthew Miller finding the back of the net early. Collin Swiderski extended the lead, finishing a pass from Jayden Basalatan.
- Senior Brian Green answered for the Lions, cutting the deficit to one after converting off a feed from fellow senior Tommy Corcoron.
- Junior Mikey McClain cut in front of the net from the right side of the field to even the score at two.
- Chestnut Hill regained its lead in the opening 31 seconds of the second quarter.
- McClain answered again, beating Chestnut Hill goalkeeper Adam Daley low to tie the game at 3-3.
- Corcoron scored twice in the second quarter to give the Lions its first lead of the contest at 5-3.
- Redshirt senior Noah Hammon added his first goal of the game, followed by Green's second, sending the Lions into halftime with a four-goal advantage.
- The Griffins came out strong in the second half, scoring three unanswered goals to cut the deficit to one. The home team then capitalized on a turnover, with Preston Page tying the game at seven with six minutes remaining in the third.
- McClain responded quickly, netting his third of the game, to restore the Lions' lead at 8-7.
- Chestnut Hill answered on a two-man advantage, with Aidan Walsh leveling the score at 8-8.
- Graduate student Timothy Morrow gave the Lions a 9-8 edge late in the third, beating Daley short side.
- The Griffins opened the fourth quarter with back-to-back goals to take a 10-9 lead. Green responded less than a minute later to tie the game at 10.
- Will Duddy scored his second goal of the game on an extra-man opportunity in the last two and a half minutes to pull ahead 11-10.
- Hammon buried the equalizer with just five seconds remaining in the fourth to force overtime.
- With under a minute left in the first overtime and nine seconds remaining on the shot clock, the Lions capitalized as graduate student Zach Kroog broke through and found the back of the net, sealing a 12–11 victory.
