The East Coast Conference announced its baseball All-Conference and postseason awards for the 2025 season. The cardinal and white totaled nine All-Conference honors tying the most selections from the conference.
Headlining Molloy's selections was sophomore
James Sill who was selected the league's Pitcher of the Year.
In his first season in Rockville Centre, Sill also earns a spot on the All-ECC First Team. The sophomore tops the conference and is third nationally with a 1.52 ERA, fourth in WHIP (.89), and tied for second in league lead with five wins. The Levittown native collected five Pitcher of the Week honors throughout the season while totaling two complete games and a ECC leading 67 strikeouts in 59.1 innings of work.

Hynes tallies his first career First Team honor in his final season in Rockville Centre. The lefty has won four of his last five starts, totaling a perfect 5-0 record entering postseason play. The graduate student boasts a 3.41 ERA through 60.2 innings of action and is seventh in the nation in strikeout-to-walk ratio (6.67).
Larkin collects his second career First Team selection and his third overall All-Conference nod. Moving from the hot corner to second base in 2025, Larkin has continued to be a staple in the top half of the order and has brought strength to the middle of the infield. The graduate student has collected a team-high 62 hits good for fifth in the conference while hitting .330 at the plate with a career-high three home runs while driving in 36 and swiping 14 bases.
For the second time in two seasons in cardinal and white Sanchez is a First Team selection. The Merrick native continues to wow opponents at short stop, starting in 42 contests making highlight reel plays game in and game out. At the plate, he tops the team with a .339 average totaling 13 extra base hits and 32 RBI while stealing 14 bases.
For the first time in his career Welsh garners a First Team selection after a break out 2025. The junior provides speed and power atop the Lions order, smashing 15 home runs on the campaign to set a new Molloy single-season record and lead the ECC. The East Meadow native sports a .328 average totaling 60 hits while leading the league with 60 runs scored, 55 RBI, and 28 stolen bases.
Seniors
Nicholas Dagnello and
JC Kiss, junior
Sean Serrano, and freshman
Jayden Patel were named All-Conference Second Team for their performances in 2025.
In his second season with Molloy, Dagnello has appeared and started in 44 contests hitting in the heart of the order. The senior hit for the cycle at Felician (Mar. 1) totaling seven RBI and drove in six runs at St. Thomas Aquinas (Apr. 5) helping him to 47 RBI on the campaign good for third in the league. The Nesconset native has totaled a .301 average on the back of 49 hits, 15 doubles, and four home runs while drawing a team-high 31 walks.
Kiss collects his second career All-Conference nod and his first Second Team selection. The Hicksville native carries a 5-2 record through 52.1 innings and 32 strikeouts. His five wins ties Sill and Hynes for second in the conference.
Serrano tallies his first career All-Conference selection of his Molloy career. Primarily playing in left field, the junior has provided a spark and energy to the lineup. The junior has put together his best season as a Lion hitting .314 to go along with 32 hits, 27 runs, 19 RBI, and 11 stolen bases.
Patel rounds out the Molloy honorees picking up a Second Team selection in his first season in cardinal and white. The freshman has become a key piece out of the bullpen, collecting four saves on the campaign placing second in the league. In 23 innings pitched, the New Hyde Park native has collected a pair of multi-inning saves to go along with one win and 11 strikeouts.
Molloy begins its quest for back-to-back East Coast Conference titles Thursday, May 8 as they take on Queens in the ECC First Round. First pitch is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. at Sal Maglie Stadium in Niagara Falls, N.Y. hosted by D'Youville University.
