Jeremy Taggart being honored at the pitcher and catching positions.
This marks the fourth consecutive season a member of the cardinal and white have been selected to the All-Region Defense Team following
Aidan Larkin ('25), Charlie Cucchiara ('24), Anthony Manisero ('24), and Robby Keane ('23).
Kiss was efficient and reliable this season on the mound. The left-hander collected 17 assists, and one put out in 19 chances to collect a .947 fielding percentage. While on the bump, Kiss saw four runners get thrown out in 10 chances while collecting one pick off in 2026.
It was tough sledding for base runners this season with Taggart behind home plate, the senior threw out 12-of-18 of those trying to steal, totaling a 66 percent throw out rate. Taggart was nearly perfect protecting the plate, collecting 249 put outs and 33 assists in 283 chances, adding up to a .996 fielding percentage.
Molloy finished the season seventh in the East Region in fielding percentage while capturing their third consecutive East Coast Conference Championship and fifth in the last six seasons. The Lions totaled 42 wins tying a program record and a program record 23-game win streak as a Super Regional Finalist.
