Greensboro, N.C. – The American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings announced its All-Region teams Wednesday afternoon with four members of the Molloy baseball team earning recognition. Junior
Sean Welsh and Sophomore
James Sill were selected to the First Team while graduate student
Aidan Larkin was tabbed to the Second Team.
Sill continues to add to his already impressive resume in his first season in Rockville Centre. Previously named All-American Honorable Mention by the NCBWA, All-Conference Pitcher of the Year and First Team selection, the sophomore adds his third All-Region First Team honor after earning the nod by the NCBWA and D2CCA. The Levittown native topped the East Coast Conference and is first nationally with a 1.52 ERA, fourth in WHIP (.89), and tied for second in league lead with five wins. The right hander collected five Pitcher of the Week honors throughout the season while totaling two complete games and totaling 67 strikeouts in 59.1 innings of work.
Welsh also collects his third All-Region tally in 2025 after garnering his first career All-ECC First Team selection. In a breakout season in 2025, the designated hitter provided speed and power atop the Lions order, smashing 15 home runs and 62 RBI on the campaign to set a new Molloy single season record and lead the ECC. The East Meadow native sported a .338 average totaling 72 hits while leading the league with 73 runs scored and 29 stolen bases.
After being named All-ECC First Team and the Most Outstanding Player of the ECC Tournament, Larkin adds his first career All-Region distinction. The graduate student paced the Molloy offense hitting .373 on the campaign while totaling a team-leading 82 hits, finishing two hits shy of tying a single-season program record. The infielder collected a career-high 52 runs, 48 RBI, 14 stolen bases, and three home runs while slugging .427. Larkin became the 12
th Lion in program history to record 200 career hits and is the first member of the cardinal and white to do so in three seasons.
